Live Vicariously Through Me or Ask Me For a Favor
Raise your hand if your heart strings have ever been tugged at when you’ve seen a picture of an orphanage in a depressed country. Or, maybe it’s when you think of your grandmother in Israel who you haven’t seen in years. I’ve designed this website so that people can live vicariously through me. If you have always wanted to donate your love and energy in an orphanage, I would love to donate that love and energy for you. I would also love to give your grandmother a hug.
The request can be volunteer-based, or fun-based. Doing a cartwheel in front of the Taj Mahal . . . Riding on a camel . . . Saying a prayer for you in Jerusalem . . . Snorkeling the reefs of Guam . . . Teaching kids from a rural countryside to do dance and gymnastics . . . Helping you paint your fence when I visit your country . . . YOU NAME IT!
Let me know your request, and I will try my best to make it happen!
Your request must be able to be described by one of the following:
Altruistic. Good samaritan. Pure zaniness. Pure child-like fun. Compassionate. Joyful. Inspiring. Generating smiles. Feels GOOD.
If the request has the potential to harm anybody, anything, or any feelings, I will not accept it.
2. Make a Donation to Support my Basic Travel Needs
Traveling the world is expensive, even when it’s purpose is altruistic. Help me circumvent the world!
Every dollar counts. Any money that is not used for basic travel expenses will be donated to one of the charitable organizations below.
Approximate costs:
- Round-the-world ticket ~$4500
- Homeopathic vaccinations before the trip ~$50
- Conservative Indian and Israeli clothing for my safety in the country ~$25
- Subways, camels, sheruts, and gas (for ground transportation) ~$1000
- Room and board for the parts of the trip between volunteerships ~$2000
