Livnot U’Lehibanot is Hebrew for “To Build and To Be Built. ”  It is a volunteerism-centered program based in the beautiful town of Tzfat in northern Israel.  The program helps 21-35 year olds connect to the land, their spirituality, Jewish traditions, and their community.  Each day, Livnot members spend at least four hours volunteering.  The idea is to uphold the Jewish tradition of Tikun Olam, which means the more that one gives, the more they have to give.

The Power of Words and Their Effects on Water Crystals

www.hado.net

Dr. Emotu from Japan has been able to capture photographically the changing structure of water crystals based on the words that are spoken or thought.  In general, water crystals are beautiful, geometric shapes when we say positive statements.  Conversely, negative statements show up as malformed, ugly shapes.  If water makes up the majority of our Earth and our bodies, we need to majorly shift our use of language!

Rising Sun Acupuncture

www.acupuncturewithaloha.com

Seitai Shinpo Acupuncture has given me amazing healing results.  I tore my rotator cuff in my shoulder two weeks prior to an African Dance performance.  I was completely incapable of moving my right arm and people told me I would never fully recover.  I recieved Seitai treatments daily until the show, soaked my feet in hot water nightly, and ended up with full mobility!  Within a couple of months I was able to do all of my yoga poses and swim a mile again.
